First building block of the German Blockchain Strategy is the implementation of electronic securities, waving the current paper requirement. The Bundesministerium der Finanzen (Federal Ministry of Finance) & the Bundesministerium der Justiz und für Verbraucherschutz run a joined consultation based on a paper (“Eckpunktepapier”) which focuses on Blockchain based securities and registers. Bundesblock issued a submission to this consultation which highlights the importance to not only focus on private #DLT solutions but to also take into account public Blockchains.
Our event will take place after a hearing of the Ministry of Finance. In the scope of our event, we will share an update and also receive the assessments of experts in this field – from representatives of traditional finance industry to upcoming players in the Blockchain community.
Participation is free of costs and limited to about 40 people.
