              Located 2 hours’ drive north of Sydney, at the gateway to the naturally resource rich Hunter Valley, the opening of DWF's Newcastle office marked a significant phase of growth for DWF Australia and the business's wider Asia Pacific presence.

              DWF's Newcastle office act for clients from a range of industries sectors locally, nationally, and internationally, including Technology and Communications, Aviation, Road Transport & Logistics, Equine/Horse Breeding, Resources, Agriculture, Financial Services, Local Government, Hospitality, Real Estate and Sports.

              Our Newcastle office is comprised of Corporate and Commercial lawyers with over 20 years of experience, whose work spans multiple states and jurisdictions. They have a focus on corporate transactions, capital raisings, major development projects, commercial disputes and insolvency. They are also particularly experienced in providing advice on restructuring businesses for mergers and acquisitions and has a strong focus on the real estate sector, advising both domestic and international clients on property developments, joint ventures and port infrastructures. 

              We also have experienced Employment and IR lawyers in our Newcastle office who provide advice to clients on all legal aspects of employment, workplace and anti-discrimination. Their clients include employers across a range of different sectors, including utilities, conservation and research, not for profit, manufacturing, tourism and hospitality, transport and energy.

              We also have a team of Real Estate and Property lawyers in our Newcastle office who provide seamless transactional expertise and complex legal advice across all key areas of property and planning. They have a particular focus on the acquisition, disposal, leasing and development of residential and commercial land. They also offer conveyancing services.
